IT service provider adesso SE (ADN1.F) on Monday reported a return to profitability in the first quarter of 2026, supported by double-digit revenue growth across most of its core industries.
Net income was 2.7 million euros or 0.39 euro per share, versus a net loss of 7.3 million euros or 1.02 euros per share in the same period last year.
The compamny recorded earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 9.1 million euros compared with a loss of 0.5 million euros a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased to 27 million euros from 17.1 million euros in the prior-year quarter.
Revenue rose 13% to 398.1 million euros from 351.2 million euros a year earlier, driven by growth across nearly all core industries.
The Utilities sector posted particularly strong growth of 31%, while Insurance revenue increased 30%. Public Administration, the company's largest sector by sales, grew 5%, although Automotive revenue remained below the prior-year level.
For 2026, adesso forecasts revenue of 1.6 billion euros to 1.7 billion euros and EBITDA of 130 million euros to 150 million euros.
