NC Corporation (036570.KS), a video game developer and publisher, on Wednesday reported sharply higher first-quarter earnings, driven by strong revenue growth.
Net income from continuing operation before income tax surged 499.3% to 187.290 billion won from 31.252 billion won in the same period last year.
Operating profit jumped to 113.277 billion won from 5.220 billion won a year earlier.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company increased to 148.781 billion won from 37.760 billion won a year earlier.
Sales climbed 54.7% to 557.383 billion won from 360.278 billion won in the same period last year.
