Robo.ai Inc. (AIIO) shares climbed 37.23 percent to $3.5817, up $0.9717 on Thursday, after the company announced the launch of NeuroStream, a new AI-powered visual data compression platform developed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Neurovia AI.
The stock is currently trading at $3.5817, compared with a previous close of $2.6100 on the Nasdaq. It opened at $4.3899 and traded between $3.5200 and $4.7500 during the session, with volume reaching 62.16 million shares, well above the average daily volume of 6.95 million shares.
The company said NeuroStream uses bitmap vectorization technology to dramatically reduce storage and transmission requirements for large visual datasets used in physical artificial intelligence applications. In internal testing, a 5.5 GB 4K 60fps video was compressed to 278 MB, reducing storage requirements by approximately 95% while preserving key visual information.
Robo.ai shares have traded between $0.5400 and $69.6000 over the past 52 weeks.
