Vista Group International Ltd (VGL.AX), an Auckland-based tech company, said on Wednesday that Cinemex has reached a deal for the transition of its Mexican circuit back to the Vista Group. This is on the heels of the successful shift of Cinemex's US circuit to Vista Group in 2025.

On the ASX, VGL.AX is currently trading up 10.24 percent on Wednesday's trading at A$2.1000.

Under the new contract, Cinemex's Mexican circuit will be initially launched on Vista Group's on-premises solution, alongside Vista Cloud's Data Empowerment capability, during 2026.
