Harbour BioMed (2142.HK) said Wednesday that China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has accepted the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for HBM7004, a potential treatment for advanced solid tumors.
HBM7004 is a novel B7H4xCD3 bispecific antibody developed using the company's HBICE platform.
In preclinical studies, HBM7004 demonstrated B7H4-dependent T-cell activation within tumors and showed strong anti-tumor activity, favorable stability and reduced systemic toxicity across multiple animal models. The candidate also exhibited a synergistic effect when combined with a B7H4x4-1BB bispecific antibody, suggesting a potentially favorable therapeutic window.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently cleared the IND application for HBM7004.
Harbour BioMed shares rose 3.78% to HK$9.89 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
