ANZ Group Holdings Limited (ANZ.AX) announced Friday that it has appointed Ben Kelleher as ANZ Bank New Zealand's Chief Executive Officer and ANZ Bank Group Executive.
Kelleher, Chief Risk Officer of ANZ NZ, will succeed Antonia Watson, who will retire as ANZ NZ CEO and ANZ Bank Group Executive at the end of fiscal 2026.
Watson has been at ANZ NZ since 2009 and has served as the CEO and Group Executive since 2019. She will officially finish her tenue on September 30.
Kelleher worked at ANZ NZ as the Chief Risk Officer for 2 years, and before that, was Managing Director for Personal Banking for five years. He has also led Private Banking and Strategy Teams of the company.
Before ANZ NZ, he worked in strategy and management roles in New Zealand and the UK.
On the ASX, the shares ended Friday's regular trading 1.01 percent higher at A$34.17.
