Bombardier Transportation (BBD-B.TO) said it received an expansion order for George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, along with a new APM system order for Sacramento International Airport, California and an additional APM vehicle order for Beijing Capital International Airport in China. The combined contracts totaled approximately 62 million euros or $98 million.

In Houston, Bombardier will extend the existing CX-100 automated people mover system that it previously supplied in 1999. The new contract also includes the supply of 4 CX-100 vehicles, enhancing the airport's existing fleet of 12 Bombardier-supplied CX-100 vehicles.

As part of Sacramento International Airport's terminal modernization program, Bombardier will supply all the system-wide electrical and mechanical elements for the CX-100 shuttle system, including 2 CX-100 vehicles, and 5 years of operations and maintenance services.

Further, Bombardier will supply 7 additional CX-100 vehicles to Beijing Capital International Airport, bringing the airport's fleet to 18 vehicles.
