Thursday, BHP Billiton Plc (BHP,BBL,BLT.L) sait it appointed two new non-executive directors, Alan Boeckmann and Keith Rumble, to its board, effective 1 September 2008.
Presently, Boeckmann is the chairman and chief executive officer of Fluor Corp. He holds non-executive directorships with Archer Daniels Midland, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. and the National Petroleum Council.
Rumble was until recently the chief executive officer of SUN Mining. Prior to joining SUN Mining, he served as the chief executive officer of Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. in South Africa.
