Aurobindo Pharma said that it got tentative approval for Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarate tablets of 300 mg strength from US FDA.
Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarate tablets of 300 mg are generic equivalent of Gilead Sciences Inc.'s Viread tablets of 300 mg and falls under the anti-retroviral segment. It is used in combination with antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-I infection in adults.
