Monday, SeaChange International, Inc. (SEAC), a provider of software and hardware solutions for video-on-demand television, said it named Ed Dunbar as president and chief operating officer of the company.
Acton, Massachusetts, headquartered SeaChange said Dunbar brings 30 years of cable, advertising and broadcast management experience to this newly created position. Bill Styslinger, founder of SeaChange, continues as chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
Prior to his appointment, Dunbar was an area vice president of Comcast Cable Communications. Earlier, Dunbar served as vice president of Comcast Spotlight, the corporate vice president of MediaOne, and vice president and general manager of Cable Advertising of Metro Atlanta.
He has also served on the boards of Vehix.com, Adlink, National Cable Communications, the South Florida Interconnect and Twin Cities Interconnect.
SEAC is currently down $0.09 or 1.45% and trades at $6.12.
