Emcore Corp. (EMKR) posted a second quarter loss of $23.7 million or $0.30 per share, compared to a loss of $17.5 million or $.27 per share in the previous year period. Non-GAAP loss for the quarter was $14.2 million or $0.18 per share, compared to a loss of $8.7 million or $0.14 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Revenue for the second quarter was $43.3 million, down from $56.3 million in the same period last year. Three Wall Street analysts expected revenues of $50.68 million.
