Ford Motor Company CEO Alan Mulally highlighted the car maker's achievements of the past year and gave a peak at the in-vehicle technology improvements in store for the lone member of Detroit's Big Three to stand without government support.

Mulally and other Ford officials announced the new MyFord Touch driver connect technology, which is designed to be powerful yet intuitive for drivers, blending strengths of the most proven interfaces in consumer electronics - including MP3 players and mobile phones - with a new generation of Ford's award-winning SYNC system.
