Destiny’s Child released their second album, “The Writing’s on the Wall,” on July 27, 1999. The album followed their self-titled debut and includes their classic singles “Bug A Boo” and “Say My Name.” Both tracks were number one hit singles, as were “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Jumpin, Jumpin.”The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 chart and number two on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Since its release, it has been certified eight times platinum by the RIAA and also has multiple platinum certifications in Canada, Holland, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. Speaking with Pop Justice in 2008, Kelly Rowland revealed that “Say My Name” was her favorite Destiny’s Child song to perform, saying: "It was so much fun to record and we crossed over with that song into a whole new world and it was amazing for us. Our audience got bigger."
