Faith Hill released her fifth studio album “Cry” on October 15, 2002. The album followed her 2001 effort “You’ll Be There” and featured the singles “You’re Still Here,” “When the Lights Go Out,” “One” and “Baby You’re Here,” in addition to the title track.The album topped the Billboard 200 chart, bumping “Elvis: 30 #1 Hits” by Elvis Presley. She held on through November 2 of that year at the top spot when “Shaman” by Santana moved up to number one. The title track landed Faith a Grammy for best female country vocal. It was penned by singer-songwriter Angie Aparo, who recorded it herself on her 2000 album “The American.” Faith was a fan of Angie’s and originally heard the track on that album.
