The Official All Star Cafe was a chain of sports themed restaurants developed by Planet Hollywood. Advertising made it seem like Wayne Gretzky, Joe Montana, Shaquille O'Neal, Ken Griffey, Jr., Andre Agassi and Monica Seles were going to pull up a stool and have a bowl of matzo ball soup with you.The main dining area felt like the grandstands at the ballgame and there was cool memorabilia to gawk at while waiting for a table.The food was so-so, but sports fans cheered until the novelty wore off.The last Official All Star Cafe, the one at Disney's Wide World of Sports, closed on September 23, 2007.
