Ludacris' upcoming album, Battle of the Sexes, will feature the Atlanta-born rapper verbally sparring with female counterparts. The rapper's seventh studio album was originally planned as a joint album with female MC Shawnna, but will now also feature appearances from Ne-Yo, Ciara, Flo Rida and Plies.

"There's never really been an album with a male rapper and a female rapper together going head-to-head on different issues, mostly relationship issues," Ludacris told Rap-Up last year.

Producers Bangladesh, Swizz Beatz and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League have all contributed to the project.

"How Low," the first single off the follow-up to 2008's Theater of the Mind, is already at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A video for the track that was directed by Dave Myers debuted last week.

Battle of the Sexes is slated to drop March 16.
