SBA Communications Corp. (SBAC) announced that SBA, through its wholly-owned subsidiary SBA 2012 Acquisition, LLC, has completed its acquisition of TowerCo II Holdings LLC, which owns 3,256 tower sites in 47 states across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
SBA said that as consideration for the acquisition, the company paid $1.2 billion in cash and issued 4.6 million shares of its Class A common stock.
