Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie recently sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her sexuality, relationship with husband Josh Duhamel and the future of her band. The interview took place on Winfrey's show Oprah's Next Chapter, which airs on her OWN network.
During the sit down, Fergie opened up about her bisexuality in the past, saying it has never been an issue for her husband:
"I met him after all that was all out there," she said. "I mean I guess I would call it bisexual or sexually open, free spirit . . . what have you."
She adds, however, that she never got serious with any of her female hookups:
"I never dated women. It was more fun. I think that a lot of women experience this sort of thing in college. Tour was like college in a way."
The Peas are currently on hiatus, but Fergie says they feel no pressure to define their status as a band:
"We don't ever have to break up. If we want to make an album, then we'll make an album."
