Convergys Corp. (CVG) announced that it has appointed Andrea Ayers as president and chief executive officer or CEO, effective November 1, 2012, and a member of the board of directors, effective today, October 23, 2012.
At the same time, the company said its Board of Directors appointed Jeffrey Fox as executive chairman of the board, also effective November 1. Phil Odeen remains on the Board of Directors as lead independent director.
Commenting on Ayers, Convergys said she joined the company in 1990 and has served in a variety of a leadership positions, most recently as president and chief operating officer.
