Peter Frampton will launch the Guitar Circus tour in 2013, which will feature several guitar greats, including legendary bluesman B.B. King. The idea, according to Frampton, is to have special guest guitarists appear at each of the tour stops to help Frampton perform classic guitar songs.
So far, only King has been confirmed to be joining Frampton for the Guitar Circus. According to Billboard, King will join Frampton for 3 weeks in August. "I'm so honored. I can't wait to speak to him and thank him," Frampton told Billboard.
Frampton indicates that more names will be announced in the coming months and the set lists will depend on who joins the tour. Prior to the Guitar Circus tour, Frampton will also play some shows with a Cincinnati ballet troupe in April.
