Zentalis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ZNTL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is scheduled to host a corporate event on January 29, 2025, to provide updates on its lead drug candidate Azenosertib.
Azenosertib is a WEE1 inhibitor, being evaluated as a monotherapy and in combination clinical studies in ovarian cancer and additional tumor types. Inhibition of WEE1, a DNA damage response kinase, drives cancer cells into mitosis without being able to repair damaged DNA, resulting in cell death. Currently, there are no FDA-approved WEE1 inhibitors.
