Autism Epidemic Runs Rampant In US, New Data Shows

The autism epidemic is "running rampant" in the United States, the Health and Human Services Secretary says as new data shows that one in 31 children born in the country are disabled by autism.

Autism prevalence in the U.S. has increased from 1 in 36 children to 1 in 31, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's latest Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network survey.
