Lorde's new studio album, Virgin, has debuted atop Billboard's Top Album Sales chart dated July 12.
42,000 copies of Virgin were sold in the U.S. in the June 27-July 3 tracking week, according to Luminate.
The fourth studio album by the New Zealand singer-songwriter, Virgin was released on June 27 through Universal Music New Zealand and Republic Records.
With Virgin, Lorde also made her debut on top of the Vinyl Albums chart.
The album is also ranked at No. 1 on the Indie Store Album Sales, Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts.
Virgin is followed by KATSEYE's BEAUTIFUL CHAOS at No. 2, Russ' W!LD at No. 3, Barbra Streisand's The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, at No. 4 and Playboi Carti's MUSIC at No. 5 on the latest Top Album Sales chart.
Billboard's Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales.
