Japan Airport Terminal Posts Higher H1 Profit, Lifts Full-Year Earnings Forecast

Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. (JAIRF.PK) on Friday reported higher profit for the first half, mainly helped by growth in revenues. The company also raised its full-year profit forecast while lowering its revenue outlook for both the full year and the second half.

Net profit increased to 13.401 billion yen from 11.990 billion yen a year ago, reflecting an extraordinary income of 16 million compared with a loss of 497 million last year.

Operating profit rose to 21.446 billion from 21.093 billion in the prior year.

Operating revenues grew to 141.544 billion yen from 131.752 billion a year ago.

For the full year, the company now expects operating revenue of 288.3 billion yen, revised down from its previous outlook of 300 billion yen, while its full-year profit forecast has been raised to 25.4 billion yen from 24.5 billion yen.

For the second half, Japan Airport Terminal now forecasts operating revenue of 146.7 billion yen, down from the earlier outlook of 151.4 billion yen, while its net profit outlook for the period remains unchanged at 11.9 billion yen.
