British singer-songwriter Lola Young, who collapsed onstage at the All Things Go festival in New York City last year, opened up about the incident in a recent Rolling Stone cover story.

Asked about the viral clip showing her fall on the stage, Young said, "I have watched it, yes. I saw it once or twice, and I haven't really gone back to it since. Obviously, I'm not going to be searching it... It's not something I'd like to search."

Young said she's grateful that the fall happened because it encouraged her to seek help.

"I am very grateful that it happened because it was, what do you call that? Like, a breaking point which allowed me to then be able to be here today, allowed me to be better for my fans, better for the future, and better for myself," she told Rolling Stone.

Young, who cancelled her tour after the incident at the All Things Go Festival and said that she was "going away" for a while, revealed in the interview that shed checked herself into a holistic facility for two months and started attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

"It was a decision… that I had to make, and it was sad that I had to do that," she said. "What else was I going to do, die? That was the reality of where my addiction was heading."

After a few months break, Young made a return at the Grammys last month, performing for the first time since her collapse — and taking home her first award for Best Pop Solo Performance.

She subsequently had a standout night at the BRIT Awards, where she won Breakthrough Artist and then headlined her first London show of 2026 at the Palladium.
