Softcat plc (SCT.L) on Friday said it now expects underlying operating profit to grow in the mid-teens range, up from its previous guidance of high single-digit growth, supported by continued strong trading momentum.
For the third quarter, the UK IT infrastructure provider reported double-digit year-on-year growth in gross profit and underlying operating profit. Softcat said growth was driven by strong demand for AI infrastructure and customers placing some orders earlier due to memory shortages.
