Fjord Defence Group ASA (DFENS.OL), a Norwegian defence compounder, said on Thursday that its net loss widened in the first quarter. The company also reaffirmed its outlook for the year ahead.
The company posted a first-quarter net loss of 48.74 million Norwegian kroner, higher than the net loss of 22.13 million Kroner in the year-ago quarter. On a per share basis, net loss was 0.85 Kroner, compared to net loss of 1.23 Kroner in the same period last year.
During the three months, revenue was 32.08 million Kroner, compared to zero revenue in the previous-year quarter. EBITA for the first three months came in at -8.49 million Kroner, compared to -1.55 million Kroner a year ago.
Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its annual outlook for revenue between 420 million and 450 million Kroner and EBITDA between 90 million and 110 million Kroner.
On the Oslo Exchange, DFENS.OL is up 7.1 percent on Thursday's trading at 18.75 Norwegian Kroner.
