Republicans Doubt Obama's Sincerity At Summit

Jon Kyl (Left), R-Ariz., the second ranking Republican in the Senate, indicated that he didn’t think Obama had been serious about listening to Republicans in the summit.

“I just don’t think the President was listening,” he said. “He actually consumed more time [speaking] than all of the Republicans combined or all the Democrats combined.”

He added, “It wasn’t a matter of just inviting us down to listen to our ideas. He wanted to argue with us.”
