Ontario-based Auxly Cannabis, which recently changed its name from Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp., is the world’s tenth biggest marijuana company with a market capitalization of $466.11 million.The company is not a marijuana grower at all, rather it is a royalty and streaming company that is a collection of entrepreneurs. Auxly Cannabis provides financial support to marijuana companies that need to expand capacity or their product lines. In return, the company receives a percentage of their production at a below-market cost. It then sells what it receives from its licensed partners at the market rate and books the difference as a profit.
