It was Incubus' sixth studio effort and their first number-one album, though their previous two releases each reached number two. The record quickly plunged on the charts after its initial success; after hitting number one, "Light Grenades" dropped to number 37 the following week. The album took over the top spot from Jay-Z's "Kingdom Come." After a week, it was replaced by Ciara's "Ciara: The Evolution."
