Jay-Z hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart with his ninth studio release “Kingdom Come” on December 3, 2006. The album includes the singles "Show Me What You Got,” "Lost One,” "30 Something,” and "Hollywood.”When “Kingdom Come” hit the top spot, Jay bumped “Doctor's Advocate” by Game out of the top position. He held on for one week at the top before “Light Grenades” by Incubus moved up to number one. The album was nominated for a Grammy but was largely panned by critics. While speaking with Vibe in 2008, Jay explained: “I look at it like a sport, like basketball. And when I came out with “Kingdom Come” . . . I came off the bench cold. It’s what I felt like at the time.”
