The Rolling Stones released their classic album "Let It Bleed" on December 5, 1969.

The record was produced by Jimmy Miller, who worked on several Stones albums around that time, and was part of a string of well-received LPs the band put out in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including "Beggars Banquet," "Sticky Fingers" and "Exile on Main St."

"Let It Bleed" features the title track, as well as "Gimme Shelter" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want." It also contains "Country Honk," the country version of the single "Honky Tonk Women," which was released earlier that year.
